Ooh, interesting. :D I always wanted to do a few things like a Proto-Germanic language set in Russia by a few colonizers in the Viking Era (kind of like a more permanent version of Kievan Rus), or create a proto-Altaic language.

...basically, it's meant to be a few different varieties and dialects. High Latin (almost like Old Norse > Icelandic) is a puristic form of Latin with varied rustic pronunciations and native words added.

LOL, you should try Sardinian or some of the extinct African Romance languages. They're almost unrecognizable.
