english philology sounds very interesting. so what kind of stuff do they teach you during the first year?

Yeah information technology is quite the same as computer science. There's definitely a connection between those. It's also my first year at university. The first term was horrible with all that theoretical stuff. But the further you come the more cool stuff you get. I wish there was more language courses ... especially in english. But somehow those guys presuppose such things from IT-People ...

well normally if i tell people what I study they turnaround :D.

but I'll do an exception for you :D. I'm studying computer science. seems very boring for most of the people, but that's what I always wanted to do. And I'm feeling very comfy with my decision.
