I have been here for 11 years but I only have one friend. Not in the friend list but becoming a real friend in real life. Many scammers have been trying to contact me , and many messages also I send to some members here which have never been responding so far. Then I think , what's wrong with me ? Too old for people here or they still keep Islamophobia as I am a Muslim ? I am thinking about leaving this site .

I only got 1 friend here in real life but not regularly communicate with each other. One friend had visited me in 2014 then disappeared , no contact anymore. The casual conversation still happens but does not continue to be long term friendship. Is it still useful for websites like this ? I wonder whether the religion and developing countries issue contribute to the condition where I can't get any friends here .

I am a Muslim and I am not a terrorist. This site give me one a real friend in a real life , one had visited me but then disappeared , the rest just making temporary conversation. Most of people just scammers. How can find a real penpal for long-term friendship ?
