I joined InterPals in 2007.

I'm supposed to be retired but still doing 4 hours a day in our family engineering business, making and repairing components in metal for industry and local farmers. I enjoy exchanging messages on this site and email when a friendship is established.

Hobbies & Interests

Playing Clarinet's and Sax's and Piano.
Speedway racing and yacht racing are interests that have become beyond me now as I age.
I get a great deal of enjoyment from Netflix, in particular series and movies from South Korea.

Trying to bake a sponge cake that actually rises, 12 failed attempts so far ... any advice is welcome.

The stuff I play --- Oldies and Jazz.

Modern music I'm afraid is just noise to me .... I call it barbwire music ( it hurts my ears)

Favorite Movies

Really like the South Korean movies and series ... they have nice themes with a bit of gentle romance without the blatant sex and violence of the modern direction films have taken in later years.

Favorite TV Shows

Other than maybe the weather and news I mostly watch Netflix.

Favorite Books

I get most of my information from the internet ... books are becoming a little obsolete I think.
