Btw, are you familiar with any strictly Polish musicians? (As Garbarek is only half Polish ;)). If you like jazz, you may know Krzysztof Komeda..?

Funny what you say, as “my own” is rather Jan Garbarek (I’m from Poland:)).

I’m very much into jazz and any kind of “world” music, so I don’t really know what’s modern and popular ;)
My recent discoveries Anda Union - amazing Mongolian band and Renata Rosa <3, folk/bossa nova/fado singer from Brazil.
