A Suitable Boy is bloody huge... like Infinite Jest (Wallace) and Underworld (Delilo). What's great though is that Saeed Jaffrey (he played Billy Fish in The Man Who Would Be King in the film version by John Huston, based on the Kipling novel) voiced all 86 characters in the BBC broadcast of it. It's already a humongous task to finish reading it, but voicing all 86 characters in it as well? Damned great.
